- Why pea sprouts?
AnaGain™ Nu is a water-soluble extract of pea sprouts, developed by Mibelle Biochemistry. Its oral research looks at hair shedding; the study and its limits are explained below.
- Alongside biotin in KeratinCell
Two capsules provide 100 mg AnaGain™ Nu and 2000 µg biotin, together with iron and the other ingredients listed on the product page. Biotin contributes to the maintenance of normal hair.
What the hair study examined
In a small eight-week pilot, 21 participants took 100 mg AnaGain™ Nu daily. Researchers recorded fewer shed hairs, but there was no placebo group. The study investigated the extract, not the complete KeratinCell formula.

Short communication reporting a topical gene-expression investigation (n=10) and a separate uncontrolled oral pilot (n=21, 100 mg/day for 8 weeks) that tracked hair shedding. All authors were affiliated with the manufacturer.
