About this product
A supplement for your daily hair routine, with biotin to help maintain normal hair. KeratinCell combines it with AnaGain™ Nu pea-sprout extract, MSM, amino acids, nettle extract and iron.
AnaGain™ Nu has been studied as an oral ingredient in hair research. Two capsules provide 100 mg of the extract, the daily amount used in an eight-week pilot study. This was research on the ingredient, not on the complete KeratinCell formula; the FAQ explains the study.
The daily serving also provides 2000 µg biotin and 10 mg iron. The plant-based capsule shell contains no gelatin.

Why does KeratinCell contain AnaGain™ Nu?
AnaGain™ Nu is an extract of pea sprouts selected for its ingredient-specific hair research. In an eight-week oral pilot study, 21 participants completed daily use of 100 mg in a drink. Researchers recorded reduced hair shedding, but there was no placebo group.
KeratinCell provides the same daily amount of the extract in two capsules; the complete formula was not tested in that study. Source: PMID 31680356.
What do the amino acids and MSM add to the formula?
Hair is made largely of keratin, a protein whose structure includes the amino acid cysteine. KeratinCell contains L-cysteine, L-cystine (two linked cysteine units) and the essential amino acid L-methionine. It also contains MSM, a separate sulfur-containing compound. Two capsules provide 100 mg of each.
How many KeratinCell capsules should I take daily?
Take 2 capsules daily with water. 60 capsules provide 30 daily servings. Two capsules provide 2000 µg biotin and 10 mg iron.
Is KeratinCell vegetarian?
Yes. The product uses a plant-based HPMC capsule shell instead of gelatin. Check the full ingredient list if you have an allergy or a specific dietary requirement.
Can biotin affect my blood test results?
Yes, biotin can interfere with some laboratory tests. Tell your doctor and laboratory that KeratinCell provides 2000 µg biotin per daily serving. Follow their instructions before testing; do not decide on a stopping interval yourself.
Can men take KeratinCell too?
Yes. KeratinCell is intended for adults, including men. It contains biotin, which contributes to the maintenance of normal hair. The product is not suitable for children, pregnant or breastfeeding women.
What if the capsules smell different than expected?
MSM and sulfur-containing amino acids in the formula may have a distinctive smell. Keep the capsules stored as directed. If the seal is damaged or the capsules have changed unexpectedly, do not use them; contact us with the batch number.
