Berberine is a plant compound. This product uses an extract from Berberis aristata root, standardised to at least 98% berberine hydrochloride (HCl). The capsule contains 500 mg extract.
How much berberine HCl does one capsule provide?
One capsule contains 500 mg root extract standardised to at least 98%, providing at least 490 mg berberine HCl. The 500 mg is the weight of the extract, not of pure berberine. HCl means hydrochloride, the form of berberine supplied here. The only other ingredient is the plant-based HPMC capsule shell, with no added fillers or other plant extracts.
How many berberine capsules should I take?
Take one capsule daily with water. The 60-capsule pack provides 60 daily servings. Follow the label and do not exceed the recommended serving.
Should I take berberine in the morning or evening?
