Curcuminecapsules

Both contain 720 mg NovaSOL® micellar preparation per capsule. Licur Max is vegan; Licur 7000 adds 7.8 µg vitamin D3. Both are taken as one capsule per day, so 30 capsules cover 30 days and 60 cover 60 days. Choose by vitamin D content and dietary suitability, not by assuming the larger product number means more curcumin.

Licur uses NovaSOL® micelles to disperse curcumin in water, rather than adding black-pepper extract. In the Schiborr et al. study, the micellar formulation showed 185× higher relative bioavailability than native curcumin powder over 24 hours (AUC). The capsule contains a liquid NovaSOL® preparation in which curcumin is held in tiny micelles, making the preparation dispersible in water. This is different from filling a capsule with dry turmeric powder. The 720 mg on the label is the weight of the whole micellar preparation, not 720 mg of pure curcumin.

Licur Max is vegan. Licur 7000 is vegetarian, not vegan, because of its vitamin D3 source. Both use an HPMC capsule shell rather than gelatin. A plant-based shell and a vegan finished formula are two different things.

Take one capsule per day with water and do not exceed the labelled serving. These products are not intended for children or for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
